Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Story Hero Academy (hereinafter referred to as the "Academy"), an online learning platform operated by Story Hero LLC (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Academy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Academy.

1. Definitions

"Academy" includes two parts: (1) the Course with lifetime access and (2) the Community with a recurring subscription.
"Course" refers to the educational program offered in the Academy.
"Community" refers to the interactive membership platform.
"Content" includes all materials such as lessons, videos, text, graphics, and images.
“Lifetime access” refers to access for as long as we keep the Course online.
“Recurring subscription” refers to a paid plan that renews automatically at each billing period until you cancel.
"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Academy.
"Account" refers to the registered profile used to access the Academy.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Academy, you may be required to create an Account. When you register, you agree to:

a) Provide accurate, current, and complete information.

b) Maintain and update your information as needed.

c) Keep your password confidential and secure.

d) Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

e) Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions or that have been inactive for an extended period.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in the currency shown on our website and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect existing Course purchases or active Community subscriptions.

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via the methods displayed during the checkout process. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

3.3 Subscription Renewals

If you purchase access to the Community, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal. As mentioned before, the Course component is a one-time purchase and does not involve recurring payments.

4. Refund Policy - 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

4.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for all new purchases of the Course. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. Community subscription charges are not refundable once the billing period has started, but you can cancel anytime before the next renewal.

4.2 Refund Process

To request a refund, you must:

Email us at support@story-hero.com within 30 days of your purchase date
Include your name and the email address associated with your account

4.3 No Questions Asked

We provide this refund with no questions asked. You do not need to provide a reason for your refund request, though feedback is always appreciated to help us improve.

4.4 Refund Exclusions

The following are not eligible for refunds:

Purchases made more than 30 days prior to the refund request
Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms and Conditions
Community subscription charges for the current billing period, and any additional services or products purchased separately from the Academy subscription

4.5 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We will remove your Course access when the refund is approved.

4.6 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law gives you. UK and EU buyers have a 14‑day right to withdraw from a digital purchase unless they start to download or stream the content and waive that right during our checkout process.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our Content

All Content provided through the Academy, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Story Hero LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Course Content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Access to Community Content is only granted while you maintain an active Community subscription.

5.3 Restrictions

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or publicly perform Academy Content
Modify or create derivative works of the Academy Content
Use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods
Download or save Academy Content except as specifically allowed
Use the Academy Content for commercial purposes
Share your account access with others

5.4 User Submissions

If you submit any content to the Academy (such as comments, feedback, or assignments), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in any existing or future media.

6. User Conduct

As a User of the Academy, you agree not to:

a) Violate any applicable law or regulation.

b) Infringe the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights.

c) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Academy or other users' accounts.

d) Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

e) Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Academy.

f) Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.

g) Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate.

h) Impersonate any person or entity.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Academy at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other Users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The academy is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the academy will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the academy in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Story Hero LLC, its officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the academy.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these terms and conditions or your use of the Academy shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Course and/or Community in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Story Hero LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Academy or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

11. Third-Party Links

The Academy may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these links only as a convenience and are not responsible for the content, products, or services on or available from those websites or resources. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with your use of any third-party website or resource.

12. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Academy website. Your continued use of the Academy after the posting of revised Terms and Conditions means that you accept and agree to the changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Florida, United States.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the User and Story Hero LLC regarding the Academy and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and us.
